The French city of Arles becomes a Provençal headquarters for fine art photography every summer, we sit down with Mitch Epstein, who tells us about revisiting the pictures that make up “In India: 1978-1989"

India is a fascinating country with a mosaic of culture, religion and communities giving you memories for the rest of your life. In this interview, Epstein explains how he immersed himself in the Indian life in this "beautiful exchange".

Let's explore with Epstein the work of Maya-Inès-Touam on the legacy of her Algerian ancestor and the work of James Barnor with his famous pictures of post-colonial Accra and London.
