Maiden Edition of IFCCI's Career Dating Event in Bangalore
IFCCI organised first-of-its-kind Career Dating event in Bangalore on Thursday, 30th October - a joint initiative by IFCCI's HR & HE Committee.
IFCCI's Bonjour Talents, a first-of-its-kind Career Dating event was organised in Bangalore on Thursday, 30th October at the Alliance Française de Bangalore. A joint initiative by IFCCI's HR & Higher Education Committees, the event aimed todesign a structured platform for French companies to access and attract exceptional bi-cultural candidates who are alumni of French Higher Education institutes and bring international experience for their current & future talent needs.
The event opened with Welcome Remarks by Mr. Jean-Marc DÉPIERRE, Director, Alliance Française de Bangalore, followed by Special Address from Mr. Yohann Samuel, Regional Director- Southern Region, IFCCI.
The event brought together leading French companies and experienced French alumni in a unique, efficient format which started with focused one-on-one fireside conversations followed by the 'Career Dating' segment and concluded with networking cocktails.
We thank our guest speakers for sharing their thoughts on their companies' talent approaches & employee value propositions to give the alumni an insight into their glocal talent strategies. Moderated by Ms. Maud LE BARS, South Asia Area Manager, Omnes Education & Chairperson IFCCI Higher Education Committee, the guest speakers included:
🔹Ms. Virginia Aranzazu Bauza Iraola, Head of Human Resources & Head of Bengaluru Site - Airbus India & South Asia who talked about Airbus India's growth & vision and strategic opportunities for bi-cultural talent.
🔹Ms.Isabelle Isnard, Head of HR & Communications, AXA shared her thoughts on the kind of talent and mindset that AXA GBS seeks to builds going forward.
🔹Mr. Nithyanandan K., HR Director - SAFRAN DATA Systems India shared inputs on various kinds of roles and skills required by their team in the short & medium term.
🔹Ms.Elisa Khetty, Country Manager - India, Nexteam talked about emerging opportunities for their Indian operations.
This was followed by the 'Speed Dating' segment where 40 shortlisted participants engaged in high-efficiency quick conversations across company tables, giving these organizations an immediate visibility into the wide spectrum of available talent.
The event concluded with a networking reception for deep discussions & relationship-building. The event's initial feedback is promising and highlights the strong need & scope for building a bi-cultural talent landscape.
