Rafale deal paves way for India-France strategic partnership for next 40 years

The Hon’ble Ministers of Defence of France and India, Mr Jean-Yves Le Drian and Shri Manohar Parrikar, met on Friday 23rd September and signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the French Republic on the purchase of 36 Rafale aircraft.

This signing marks a major milestone in the Indo-French strategic partnership. It will strengthen industrial and technological cooperation over the next forty years.
