Launch of France Alumni India Chapter in Bengaluru
With Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France

The Embassy of France in India launched the France Alumni India Chapter – Now in Bengaluru on January 08, 2017 during the four days visit of Mr. Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France in Bengaluru, India.

The event was held at Alliance Française de Bangalore with HE, the Ambassador of France to India Mr Alexander Zeigler; director of the Alliance Francaise de Bangalore; alumni and guests.

Mr Aswin Chinnaraj, Technical Coordinator at Altran Technologies India presented his experience of France and the impact on his personal and professional life.

Alumni from different parts of Southern India and different eras came together for an afternoon of reminiscing with the launch of the France Alumni in Bengaluru. The event opened with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the minister’s address, a dance recital and ended with a high tea which gave everyone the opportunity to share their warm and lively stories that conveyed the message on the benefits of studies in France and the asset of speaking French in professional life.
